Who Am I?
My name is Joris de Gruyter, and I’m a Belgian living and working in the United States of America. Programming and technology has been a passion of mine from an early age,
and I am one of those fortunate people who has turned their passion into a day job. I work on the open source Power Fx language
as well as the programming model in Power Apps at Microsoft. Previously I worked on Dynamics 365 developer tools and ALM, but all opinions and content on this site are my own.
I love software and game development, technology in general, and music. (And I'm also a fan of the Oxford Comma.)
Maybe I'm not the absolute expert in any of these, but I can surely talk shop about all of them...
I won't bore you with my background, you can just go to LinkedIn to look that up.
Drop me an old school email at "joris" (and you can figure out the domain from this website, I'm sure).
Or, interact with me on any of these media:
Send me GIFs on Twitter
Find my street cred on LinkedIn
Spy on me via Twitch
Put yourself to sleep with my YouTube Channel
Laugh at my code on GitHub
Whether you're here for my old "daxmusings" blog or for new content related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 or the Power Platform, welcome.
If you're here for my other musings, not necessarily related to Microsoft, also welcome. This is my new all-encompassing personal website, blog and sharing platform.
